About Our Corporate Partners
The South Texas Food Bank relies on generous support from our corporate sponsors to keep our programs going.
The Food Bank enjoys the support of corporations and businesses like H.E.B., Target, Walmart, Stripes, and AT&T are among the many corporations that have partnered with the South Texas Food Bank in its ongoing mission to help the hungry in south Texas.
These businesses generously assist our mission through:
• financial donations and grants
• coordination of food drives
• volunteers who come to our warehouse to help sort and inspect food.
Other entities like the City of Laredo, Webb County, Laredo Chamber of Commerce, Laredo Energy Arena, Doctor's Hospital, Hal's Landing, and many others provide in-kind or event sponsorships of major food bank events, like the annual "Empty Bowls" fundraising event.
Our local media outlets are also strong supporters of the South Texas Bank. Television outlets like the City of Laredo Public Access Channels, Univision and KGNS are always ready to give us airtime and provide coverage. BMP Radio is our main radio partner. The Border Media-South Texas Food Bank annual radio drive is one of the most widely publicized Food Bank fundraising events.
