Feinstein: Double your bang for South Texas Food Bank bucks

by Salo Otero

Thanks to the Feinstein Foundation, from March 1 to April 30, donors have the opportunity to double the affect of dollars donated to the South Texas Food Bank and its mission of feeding the hungry.

Every dollar donated to the South Texas Food Bank during these two months, the Feinstein Foundation will match your dollar up to $30,000. Each of your dollars will now translate into 16 meals for our needy. The South Texas Food Bank is grateful to the Feinstein Foundation for their generous support in our mission to alleviate hunger. The Alan Shawn Feinstein Foundation is located in Cranston, R.I. Feinstein notes, “I believe each of us was put here on earth to do what we can to help those in need. My money started the campaign, but it is up to you who will help to decide how many needy people in your city will be fed this year. All that will matter to us someday is what we did while we were here to help those who needed us.”

“The Feinstein Foundation is a blessing to our South Texas Food Bank clients and we give them a BIG, BIG thank you for lending a helping hand to our very important and monumental mission,” Alfonso Casso Jr., STFB
executive director said.
