An avid supporter of the South Texas Food Bank, Laredo Medical Center hosted its second food drive of the year this past November in support of the food bank. The food drive was part of their "Gift of Giving" campaign, which aims to exemplify their spirit of generosity during the Thanksgiving season.
Thanks to their dedicated physicians, nurses, clinicians, caregivers, support teams, and volunteers, they collected and donated 580 pounds of non-perishable food.
“They’ve been a great supporter of ours, and we’re always thankful for their food drives. These food drives fuel our hunger relief efforts, and the food items received from these drives end up helping neighbors throughout our eight counties,” said Alma Boubel, CEO of the South Texas Food Bank.
